About Us - Lee and Company Orchids

Nestled at the base of majestic Mauna Kea lies a sleepy little area in upper Hilo called Waiakea Uka. This is where we grow and process all our farm products. Our orchids are grown with the natural tradewinds and sun of the Big Island of Hawaii.

This is the home of Lee & Co and the world’s finest CERTIFIED orchid crops. The founder Lee Nishimoto, has over 30 years orchid-growing experience and has personally produced over a million orchids.

Since 1987, Lee & Co has been raising crops in accordance with the regulations of the Hawaii Plant Quarantine Division. Our farm is Certified by the State of Hawaii for export of orchids.

In essence, we are dedicated to raising our crops free of pest and disease. We employ sound cultural practices that insure the quality of our products and preservation of our fields for the benefit of future generations.
